State of tide round the island
Not for navigation. Streams come from the Manx Sailing & Cruising Club sketch atlas and the Admiralty Pilot, spread between the drawn arrows and scaled for springs and neaps. Heights are astronomical predictions only; weather and surge are not included.

Live weather and sea state
Wind against tide. Where a fresh wind opposes the stream, expect steep seas well beyond the marked overfalls, especially off Point of Ayre, the Chickens and Langness. Check the wind direction against the flow on the map before you go.
